The 10430VP Brix Refractometer displays readings on the BRIX scale from 0 to 30 Brix. Brix is a unit of measure which is related to the sugar (sucrose) content of a sugar solution. When testing industrial fluids or non-sugar solutions you can create a calibration table or graph for comparing the Brix scale readings to actual known concentrations or properties of your fluids.

These handheld refractometers have superior optics for a brighter, sharper image than any other refractometer. Razor sharp shadowlines improve the precision and accuracy with which readings can be taken. A light-weight Xenoy polymer body increases impact resistance when the refractometer is subjected to harsh working environments. The sealed, waterproof construction keeps the optics clean and free of condensation. Automatic temperature compensation eliminates measuring temperatures and applying a correction factor when taking readings. No other refractometer on the market can offer all these features.

The ECO7113 Economy Refractometer offers a low-cost alternative to premium refractometer product lines. These refractometers are ideal when cost is more important than durability, accuracy and precision. If all you need is a quick ballpark reading, then our new economy refractometer is right for you.

For those applications requiring the most precise and accurate readings, or for applications involving quality control or safety, we recommend that you select from one of our durable premium refractometers.

Digital Fiberoptic
Refractometer (DFR)

Measure Salinity percent concentration, ppt, specific gravity and freeze point.

The Digital Fiberoptic Refractometer is fast, easy to use, and incorporates the latest cutting-edge fiberoptic sensor technology. Simply dip the end of the refractometer into a liquid solution, press a button, and the powerful Motorola microprocessor quickly displays a digital readout with computer precision. Automatic temperature compensation insures that fluids read at temperatures between 0°C and 50°C (32°F and 122°F) are measured accurately.

The large LCD display is easy-to-read and removes the guessing associated with reading conventional refractometers. Gone are the days of trying to adjust your eyeglasses, while squinting into a small eyepiece, to determine where a fuzzy little boundary line crosses tiny scale divisions.

Non-Linear Temperature Compensation

Automatic-temperature-compensation eliminates the need for measuring temperatures and applying a correction factor when taking readings. Unlike traditional handheld refractometers that compensate in a straight line for only one fluid, the MISCO DFR can have multiple non-linear temperature compensation channels for different scales. Both the range and accuracy of the temperature compensation exceed any other refractometer available. What does this mean to you? More accuracy. A refractometer without temperature compensation simply can't measure up.
