Cryoscope: Ultrasonic CryoScop

The LLA cryoscope ´ULTRASONIC 10S´ is an automatic cryoscope for the determination of added
water in milk. This new cryoscope combines the conventional properties of modern analyzers with the new technique of ultra-sound
induced freezing point agitation. The reliable reproducibility of freezing point plateaus depends strongly on the homogene
nucleation in recristallisation of water. The ultrasound induced nucleation guarantees a stable freezing point plateau, which
achieves highly accurate results. The ultrasound freeze pulse is consistent, therefore all stirrer-related problems common
to other methods of freeze inducement are removed. The technological advance in using ultrasound induced freezing point agitation
is manifested by its improved operational reliability, its fast and accurate test and its ease of operation. The LLA Ultrasonic
CryoScop truly represents the next generation of cryoscope instrumentation for determination of added water in milk. Using
a short ultrasonic shock wave the milk sample is preserved and no longer splashed by the beating stirrer. Containing all
the advantages of easily operatable analyzers the ULTRASONIC 10S is a cryoscope which introduces a new generation. A low
cost alternative to the cryoscop ´ULTRASONIC 10S´ is the single sample cryoscope ´ULTRASONIC LC´. If required, the single
sample unit can be upgraded to a 10S unit later on.
